Cadet Planner - Term Contract - 3 Positions

Salary:  AUD 60,527.00 per annum plus Superannuation (Remuneration stated is for the full-time position)
Employment status: Term Contract up to 12 months (3 positions)
Employment arrangement: Full Time
Location: Sydney CBD
Option to work under a 19 day month arrangement

To help us deliver our strategic objectives, the City is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Cadet Planners to be part of the 2019 City of Sydney Entry Level program to work in our Planning, Workforce Services (HR) and Finance.

The primary purpose of the position is to manage the assessment of a case load of development and other related applications including planning, heritage, urban design and development issues to ensure they are processed according to Council procedures and in accordance with statutory requirements. This will involve the preparation of written assessment reports that clearly explain recommendations using relevant statutory requirements as justification.
