Your new company
Our client is a metropolitan council, representing more than 170,000 people in the inner-eastern suburbs of Melbourne. The Statutory Planning Department at this council is dedicated to achieving the best planning outcomes for their community. You will be instrumental in driving this change across the organisation using best practice approaches to successfully support them from now to their desired future state.

Your new role

You will report into the Coordinator of Statutory Planning and be providing expert assistance to existing and new applications as they continue to come through. You will be undertaking a wide range of applications including standard residential code, mixed use development, multi-unit and increased density permit applications.

What you'll need to succeed
You will hold a tertiary qualification in urban planning or a related discipline and have 2-3 years local government planning experience in Victoria. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and have a desire to work in fast-paced, leading council.
