To represent the Planning Authority as an expert planning witness at Public Inquiries and to assist Counsel in the presentation of cases at Inquiries. To prepare and submit written representations on behalf of the Council in respect of appeals handled in this way. To advise planning enforcement officers on matters of policy and the need for planning permission for unauthorised minerals and waste related development. To undertake other projects to meet the requirements of the Service plan.
